One advantage an experienced software developer may have in regards to putting themselves in a position to put their list and credibility building efforts on the fast track is to pair up with an established Marketer that has a dedicated list and the Marketing chops to put together a product and launch campaign, splitting the results 50/50. That way you can build at least a shared list, make a few bucks, and get your name and forte out there without doing the heavy lifting, Marketing wise.
