I often use it to check on a potential partner to see what kind of weight their site has in the natural search, if they're listed in the directory, and a reasonable idea of how they're progressing (or not).

I also search top results for general keywords of the projects that I'm looking for partners for to see top performers in those categories for me to approach (and possibly grab contact details) in both the regular search and directory.

That's it in a nutshell ..
