jv contest thru clickbank and PLF2 style launch

I have a couple of questions...thanks for any help

I'm gonna be launching a product thru clickbank. Is there a way to do a contest for affiliates and offer prizes to the top sellers if the product is being offered thru clickbank?

I'm hoping a contest would add more affiliates. What type of prizes should I offer? It seems people are now doing more contests with cash prizes.

I would have to stop the contest at a certain time to track total sales. I'm hoping to get approved on the product for a $97 dollar price point and offer 60% commision to affiliates as this is a real estate investing course and the material is more in depth than the typical product out there that are being sold for $1000.

I am a student of Jeff Walker's product launch formula 2 and would like to add his tactics to this clickbank launch. How can I add them to a clickbank product?

    thanks again for any help

    Hey, Jason.

You probably haven't had your post answered because you're asking too many individual questions in one post ... I'll address what appears to be the main ones.

Yes ... of course you can have a sales contest, as long as you have an accurate way to track individual sales. ClickBank allows you that option, so you are OK.

If this is your first launch ... and you don't have a very big name in your market, I'd keep it simple, and stick with cash.

If your take is 40% of a $97 product, you have to remember ... obviously, that your cash prizes will have to be a % of it. Be sure to post that the prize fund is based on a minimum number of sales, and calculate the Top 3 or Top 5 total dollar using those estimates. Increments are usually 1/2 the amount, descending (EX. 1st - $500, 2nd - $250, 3rd - $125) ... or something comparable.

You may also want to offer additional incentives, like the Top 10 get a reciprocal mailing from you, or the Top 5 have their offer on a banner rotator on the sales thank you page, or the Top 3 have their offer in the membership area, etc. You could also have a cash contest for most optins in pre launch ... either via hitting a certain number ... or cumulative total, and place them accordingly.

Also ... I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to employ Jeff's tactics on any launch ... why would it matter if it's a CB product?

    Best,

    Mike
