    How to insert affliate links?

    Hello,

I have an question about affiliate links, i have joined an affiliateprogram, and got the following affliate links:

    - one https://paydotcom.com/r/12345/xxxxx/222222/
    - one https://paydotcom.com/r/12345/xxxxx/222222/
    these for the prelaunch

    And another
    http://getresponse.com/click.html?x=.......

    So mine question:

    - at all three i substitute the X for mine paydotcom username, in http://getresponse.com/click.html?x=.......the piece "html?x" this X with paydot username, right?

    - which of the links will direct me for the affiliate commission, the "getresponse" link only or all three?

    - and how do i insert this/these, could i made up an phrase:
"To buy just click here" and put the link under the word "here"?

Hope you can help me out, or give me the right directions, the affiliate side is a little new to me and i need to learn this right to make an good start!

    Thanks for your time.

Re: How to insert affliate links?

    Hi, Harry,

To simply answer your question without getting into too much detail, the Getresponse link is probably a tracking link that the merchant/affiliate manager had incorrectly turned on in the text partner follow up email. In other words, it's meant for their tracking ... not your use. Had they not enabled tracking, you would have probably seen the appropriate PDC affiliate link ( https://paydotcom.com/r/12345/your affiliate id here/222222/ ) ... and, yes, your ID belongs where the 'x's are.

Always test the link by clicking it, yourself, to make sure the URL syntax is correct ... and you arrive at the right destination. The initial click will show up in your stats ... check to be double sure you're getting credit.

You could link to 'click here', related keywords, graphics, etc.

    Best,

    Mike
