There are a lot of resources out there you can use for no cost (refer our http://freestuff.easymarketinggroup.com but there are other lists too) plus have a look at the giveaway events (see http://updates.giveawayvault.com for a listing) where you can obtain free products plus ideas of what other IMers have created.
Creating a product yourself is the best way to go and then obtaining affiliates to help you market the product but take some time to understand the industry which will help you avoid major pitfalls.
