Simply a numbers game -

The folks you really want in your corner get bombarded with requests on a daily
basis. Furthermore they can only email to their lists so often before people say
"enough of your sales messages" and hit the unsubscribe link.

This makes it tricky for a new person to get their foot in the door ...

If your product is launching the same week as a big name then all the
other "gurus" will promote the name that is recognized and more of a
safe bet.

My first launch did fine, made me 5k for a months work and continues to
sell to this day. However I rushed things ...

With my own upcoming launch in about ten days I have slowed myself down.
Did a soft launch with the product to get positive feedback and testimonials
and did it inside another guru's membership site.

This got my foot in the door with one guru that led to the next and so on.
Note I also spent a pretty penny on graphics and took my time with a
long sales copy.

The end result is:

- My Product Looks As Good As Any Guru's Out Their
- My Product is Backed by One Guru that leads to another
- My Product has testimonials (audio) from people getting results with my methods

Take your time, understand their are many like you trying to get a
"foot in the door" and do what ever you can to stand out.
