My name is Monna Ellithorpe. I have been writing in journals, diaries and creating short stories since my teen years. I didn't have the "happily ever after" life I had dreamed of the first time in marriage, so writing became a way to release the never ending ideas, thoughts and sentences that rambled around in my mind; waiting to find a place in a story.
My first book published in 2003 was a different technique to make a Double Wedding Ring Quilt easier and faster. I still didn't realize that my purpose in life was to write until after the death of my beloved second husband in 2008. It was then that I started to seriously pursue a career in writing.
I live in Fort Myers, FL., and I continue to write short stories and articles and work on my first fiction/historical fiction novel, along with helping others to publish their books and teaching different classes online to help make life easier for writers.
