If I want to sell a product with affiliates and JV.
Then I will go for Clickbank. They are well recognize
and your affiliate or JV partners (especially those
bigger list) will trust that they get paid for their promo.
If I just want to sell to my own list then I will
go with PayDotCom. Immediate set up and
my paypal account is not being risk.
I personally have never used PayDotCom, but I love Clickbank as a retailer. They have a fairly seamless system with decent stats scripts and I don't have to waste time calculating or paying any affiliates.
Systems will always win over human error when it comes to payment tasks!
I have noticed some very lame excuses for refunds also...but there are just people like that everywhere, you can't let it discourage you. Just stay true to your path.
I've used both and in my opinion both have their pros and cons. I'm not thrilled with the fact that you have to pay so much in fees and setup with CB, but you have so many more affiliates willing to promote for you and their systems are a bit more stable.
PDC allows unlimited free products, but their system is unreliable and I have personally seen it crash on the day of big releases.
Am I right in thinking that it is impossible or at least very difficult for PDC affiliates to buy through their own link? That in itself seems a good reason for using them.
