You obviously might use multiple modalities... ie videos along with text... they are great relationship buiilders...

Lakshay is 100% right on added video to the JV invite page. The same way video sales letters are killing it right now the same is true for the JV invite pages.

You have to sell them on your product.

I always like the subject line:

"Bob, where do I send the check?"

Then having it link to the video for them.

This converts VERY well. You take the time to show them that you are VERY interested and they almost feel obligated to at least hear you out.
