That's very sound advice in any marketing strategy whether online or on a b2b basis. Even if you were going for a job interview you would first want to find out everything you could about the buisness you were hoping to be employed by.

I really enjoyed your post and have printed it out and stuck it to my office wall just to remind me that one should never get too big for their own boots!
