Here I agree with Dwayne.You see these "not about" in almost every sales letter because this "mystery marketing" technique generates better results than revealing everything in the sales lettter itself.It's just human mind that it easily gets attracted to whatever seems "mysterious".

The other factor is that people are inherently lazy.They just want to avoid maximum amount of work and a long list of "not abouts" lures them in thinking that the system contains some "magic bullet" that may let them to make without doing any hard work.

Also,as a rule,majority of marketers,fails in properly implementing traffic generation systems and as a result develop a kind of fobia towards them.Clever copywriters takes the advantage of their psychology by making them to feel like the new product contains some "push button" system that will work for them like a magic wand.
