    Guru's suck, everyone lies...

    I get the marketing principle.

In fact, I'm drafting a report on it.

Cry wolf, blame others, stir contravery, blah blah...

But just from the "art" side of marketing and advertising (which is both art and science), I have to say these ads or SO played out and SO lacking in creativity.

Yeah yeah, they still sell. (That's unfortunate).

But have some pride and create an original angle.

I just posted this as my facebook status:

"I just clicked an ad cause after reading the BS pitch (guru's robbing you blind... I am going to expose... blah blah ) I just wanted to cost whoever is running this ad some money. :-) Such UNCREATIVE marketing - the everyone lies except for me pitch. ... Here's a pencil. Go home. Write some copy. Make it suspenseful... and don't come back until something dope hits you... fk it... you can take this keyboard with you."

The good thing with everyone doing the same thing is that if you do something different, then you'll become more visible in the market .

It is funny that mostly all sales pages have miles of text talking about what they are NOT about...

for example: "this is not about PPC, or PPV, or article writing, or link building, or Google, or facebook or twitter, or ...or... or"

And they don't say one word on what the product IS about.... funny guys!

    Hey Alan

That's the Blind Offer, and it works like cRaZy
but people don't know what they're getting.

So it may work because of the mystery of
    what it could be, LOL!

    Hi Alan,
Here I agree with Dwayne. You see these "not about" in almost every sales letter because this "mystery marketing" technique generates better results than revealing everything in the sales lettter itself. It's just human mind that it easily gets attracted to whatever seems "mysterious".

The other factor is that people are inherently lazy. They just want to avoid maximum amount of work and a long list of "not abouts" lures them in thinking that the system contains some "magic bullet" that may let them to make without doing any hard work.

Also,as a rule, majority of marketers, fails in properly implementing traffic generation systems and as a result develop a kind of fobia towards them.Clever copywriters takes the advantage of their psychology by making them to feel like the new product contains some "push button" system that will work for them like a magic wand.
    Best Regards,
    Vivek
