That's exactly what I recommend to people who are having trouble making money. Just following the steps you outlined and taking months (not weeks) building traffic and you will start to see sales. The problem most people have is they do maybe half of what you outlined and wait 2 months and expect to make money.

Alot of people will leave out the most important part, which is IMO getting an optin in there and building a list and setting up a follow-up series of emails.

Then they will not actively go out and try to build links to increase their ranking in Google, or won't get out there on forums and build a reputation, or won't write articles. They just expect the traffic to come.

By doing what you outlined, then working your way up to 100 visitors a day, to 200 a day, and more, that's when the sales start coming in. Getting those visitors, getting them on your list, and following up with them.

Then, do it again!
