I have no experience with CutePDF because I just use Microsoft Word 2007 to convert my DOC's to PDF. You can also try searching on Google for "doc to pdf".

I'm not familiar with Cutepdf myself but from the sound of it, its very similar to PDF995. You can google PDF995 to get the download or try this with cutepdf.

When converting with pdf995, all you do is hit the print button to get to the printer selection screen. Choose the program you would like to use ( in your case cutepdf) and it will ask you to select a save location. Choose and name you location and voila it should be done. Like I said this is how it works with pdf995, I've never used cute pdf.

I use CutePDF a lot and it works very well. All it really does is to emulate a printer. All you need to do is to "Print" your file (rather than save it as pdf) and choose CutePDF as the printer. CutePDF will then ask you where you want to save the file and then save it as a pdf for you in that location. You can know open the saved filed as a pdf.

    Hope it helps

    ya that's right...

Choose CutePDF as the printer...Click OK...and then the program will start to read and "print" the document....

Afterwhich, it will prompt you to save the pdf file inside your designated place.

    You can use Open Office:

    http://openoffice.org

Open Office is an open source (free) Word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, etc software.

You can convert files you make in Open Office to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint...so it's easy to share docs with other people.

To answer your question, there is a "convert to PDF" button right in the navigation bar. It's super easy to create reports in Open Office and instantly convert to PDF. Great tool and I highly recommend it. If you can use MS Word, you can use Open Office. It's all very similar in its logic.
