How Can I Find Affiliates?
I just made a web page as a publisher as a new site called Wedding Planner Magic and posted it on clickbank. I am having the hardest time finding affiliates. Does anyone have any advice?
My website is: http://www.weddingplannermagic.com
I am offering 75% commissions on a $27 dollar ebook purchase.
Thanks for your help,
Jeff
Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Jeff
1st getting affiliates is just like getting buyers you need to sell them on you and your idea.
2nd you need to go to adwords and find who is already selling what you have to offer and see if they would like to be a affiliate for your product and also sign up to be a affilate for there product as well.
3rd look at doing a follow swap with them.
4th you need to be able to give number that people can look at. Will it convert at 1%, 5%? What did the OTO convert at?
These are things I want to know before I do anything.
5th once you get 1 affiliate to promote for you take the resultes and tell other people what you have done and what they can expect. Seeing that other people did it is a huge factor.
6th THIS IS A BIG ONE...go find some ezines that your target affiliates might be reading and place a few ads in there looking ofr affiliates. This can be a huge money maker if done right.
7th find the target market were your product would fit with other products and add value. Get them to add you to the thank you page.....THIS ONE IS THE BEST AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THIS IS WERE THE MONEY IS. THE THANK YOU PAGE.
8th provide a 2nd tier bonus for anybody who brings in a affiliate for you. This could be money or anything of value.
9th provide everything a affiliate could ever need to promote your product. Make it simple for them to work with you.

Look at the above link even though it is not done yet, this should give you a idea of what you can do for your affiliates.
10th make a list of your top dream affiliates and send them a letter in the mail telling them about yourself and that you want to work with them and what you can offer them in return.
11th just pick up the phone and call people who can help you and just get to know them.
Thanks

Honestly the sales page looks more like a funeral page then a page to do with weddings and the book cover on the buy botton are not appealing.
Then there is the signature on the page Lauren Jill yet the affiliate page is signed Jeffrey Morse, very confusing to a potential affiliate and they may shy away from it.
The sales page is the most important thing that would scare me away from it as it doesn't pull me in at all, even my wife wasn't interested in the sales page as it didn't hold her interest.
Is this product New?
Regards,
Scott
Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Yeah the product is new i just started with it a few days ago... So white roses, red hearts, and pink are funeral colors haha. okay, i realize it can use some work but a funeral... come on man,
-Jeff
Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Scott has a point here. As and affiliate I want to know that a page will convert in to sales and money and if anything at all is at all wrong I just pass it over.
The key is to get 1 affiliate and start making sales and leverage that into other affiliates.
Thanks
Charles

It's all in the presentation, to me and others that I asked to look at it without my imput all said the samething. The rose arraingement looks like a funeral wreath. How about some wedding pictures, a wedding dress, a chruch, a reception hall, limos, a Bride and Groom? Really dress it up without going overboard and make it look professional.
I would be the first to promote it if I had confidence in the product and that starts with the sales page.

Scott
Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Hi,
I just had a look at the sales page.
The wreath around the sales page is
a little distracting.
You have to focus their attention on the
sales copy.
I like the idea of the wedding pictures though.

Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Hi, Thanks for all the advice I will get working on it. I am new at this and I really appreciate all of the constructive criticism. I will be getting to work on it in the next few days to hopefully have a profitable product.
Thanks again,
-Jeff

Hi Jeff,
I also thought 'funeral' when I saw the first site.
The look and feel of the new page is so much better, well done.

MUCH MUCH BETTER, it's lively and show exactly what the site is about. Maybe a Bride and Groom stuck in there amung the text would be nice and a updated ebook cover for the buy botton.

Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
How about creating a special bonus for talking to any big affiliate and getting them on board!
Jeff, this is business! Ad it does take those 17-18 hour days when you are really desperate for success (Which you SHOULD be)
btw... those days really pay off... I mean creating a bonus for "just" one affiliate might seem to be a bit of pain in the posterior but then, that's the warrior way, right?

Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Use clickbank, commission junction, or shareasale.com. Traffic is of no use if they have no interest in your products. You require traffic that is targeted to your product, and getting your site on the search engines is the best possible way to do this.
Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
Charles,
Thank you for the review on the site, I have started getting to work using your feedback as a checklist of changes I am going to make.
Thanks again,
Jeff
Re: How Can I Find Affiliates?
I just wanted to piggy back off of the question Jeff asked and possible give him a few ideas that helped me. While I, too, am looking for affiliates for my product which was prelaunched in the warrior forum, I must say, Jeff, that the warrior forum is where you should start. This will give you a better feel if your product will be well received. If not the warrior forum, then a forum that caters to your topic or category. I was able to make over $2000 in 9 days on the warrior forum. For someone who is not well recognized, that is a good start. I want to maintain my momentum, so I am looking for some affiliates who are interested.
My landing page is http://www.google-dominator.com. You are welcome to do reviews. Thanks in advance.
But you have to do some testing to see what people are looking for and my success came in a forum of other experts. This forum is good to be critiqued, but you want to go where there are hungry buyers. I hope I am not offending anyone in this forum, but this is a different setting of experts who can give you advise, but if you have people buying or not buying, it can pretty much give some clues as to what you need to do and you can come back here and ask more questions.
I am also looking for some affiliates for my product at http://www.google-dominator.com. Anyone interested, please email me or go to the page and scroll to the very bottom, you will see the affiliate link.. I am offering 55% commission through paydotcom.com
Thanks.
Cheryline
PS. I love this forum!!!!!
