Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi,
My name is Leo di Milo and I have been selling other people's products for roughly 5 years now. Up to this point, my primary affiliate network has been from those who are in the HYIP and surf world (make money online networks) but over the past 6 months I have migrated over to the marketing niche more and more. (I have had good success with the HYIP crowd though as they are always looking for other ways to make money).
My new site is http://idiotaffiliate.com and I actually have entered the realm of building my first product for sale.
I look forward to becoming an active member for this forum.

Well I am glad to be here, and I hope I can contribute in a positive way to each and everyone here! May you all have great success!!! ;)
Hope to get to know you all a lot better
Have a great day

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hello Admin and All,
The name's Aled Davis and I am delighted to be on board. Just past the newbie stage and into IM like a 'rat up a drainpipe' ( translates as 'well motivated to do well') ;D
Have been playing with IM whilst doing a heavy travelling day job and now realise you cannot play at it! Now full time and really looking forward to an initial JV in the near future. Ego-centric strengths might be copywriting, thinking out of the box (having got stuck in there in the first place), a real whizz at Domain Names and super good at expenditure on IM Products. Have an opt-in list of <100 to offer any big name gurus who might be interested in a real challenge. ::)
Best Wishes and Good Luck To All

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi to everyone at JVNotifyPRO.
It is great to join you, and thanks to Mike for such a useful forum.
I came to IM via, what some might say, a roundabout route. I have an online niche business selling physical products - kits for DIY Valve/Tube amplifiers - and 'found' IM through a desire to improve traffic.
As a by-product I have become enthralled with IM itself. And, having spent the past 18 months learning everything I can, hope to put something back into the community soon!
I wish all of you the best of luck with your enterprises, whatever they may be.

Introduction from a Corporate workhorse that's new to IM
Hey everyone,
I'm Steve; relatively new to IM although I've been active in Corporate Internet for quite a few years.
I'm really not sure how I got here but can obviously see the huge benefits in being a member.
Having read Mike's rant - I'm not sure how much to say regarding my new venture but I will continue reading and get a feel for what's acceptable and what's not. In my short time in IM; I've definatley been guilty of creating "information overload" and sometimes wondered if it would all work itself out?
The one thing I can tell you is that my new venture is desperate for JV's and in particular content. The site goes live on the 10th Sept when I return from a Derek Gehl seminar in Orlando; which I'm really excited about attending (my first bootcamp).
Well, that's it from me for now. Looking forward to actually communicating with you all.
To all our success.
Steve.

Hi everybody,
I'm David Allen from Vancouver Canada.
I'm a 45 year old certified journeyman painter/restoration specialist, singer and songwriter.
Over the past 7 years I've 'dabbled' in online marketing and have had some success
here and there.
I love to write, design, create and help others when ever possible.
Because in the end, that's what I realize works best - sincerely wanting to help others
improve and succeed.
Nice meeting you all and feel free to say hello anytime!

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi Mike/Everybody,
My name is Joel Holtzman. I am 30 years old and I have been the 'go to' techie for many Im'ers such as Jonathan Mizel over the years. I've slowly learned the 'jv ropes' by partnering with fellow warriors including a man who has become a good friend in Willie Crawford. Working with these guys helped me realize one thing;
I have a lot to learn.
And I look forward to doing just that. While I am well versed in the world of
'geek', I am ready to take my IM education and career to the next level. Ironically, that was my first intention
in 1998, but I got sidetracked a bit for 9 years ;)
One thing I am thankful for, though, is the countless relationships I have made from 'big names' to newbies just like me. Hopefully that can continue here.
Thank you for this community and for your time.
Joel

Looking forward to reading more from all of you.

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hey All,
My name is Richard Monssen.
I have been online altogether now for about 2 years, I have learnt a lot in that time, opened a few websites with varying success but am still really yet to make something substantial from this whole IM thing.
Checked out this site about a hear and a half ago, which was when I first launched what would be one of my most successful website, only at that time it was hard to login into and seemed to be more trouble than it was worth, but now I have come back to find it has blossomed into quite an effective and informative site.
Nice one Mike!
Kind Regards
Richard Monssen

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Welcome, Wouter ... Richard.
Yeah, we've come a long way ... but the aesthetic and technical improvements are secondary to partner participation ... it's getting better everyday. ;)
Thanks,

Intorducing - Michael S. Copeland
Hello everyone,
I'm Michael S. Copeland, the Vision Knight. I help people take their ideas and formulate their vision. Ideas are great but if you don't have that vision, that beacon, then you don't have a direction to go. I like to help people start that roadmap and prioritize all of the ideas based on the needs of the person and their business. Without a roadmap you don't really know where you're going or how to get there. I'm in the process of developing a program to help you all in this arena. You'll see my notice informing you all of a JV opportunity.
I also am big into the Law of Attraction and have a free community site, http://TheSecretGathering.com, to help people grow. I am looking for various JV and affiliates opportunities in this arena currently.
Another thing I do, and it's not really advertised anywhere, is I do critiques. I have worked at BIG dot.com's and have a number of domains myself. I am able to critique a website from the look and feel, and functionality aspects of the user. I also critique products, business plans, and proposals. My experience allows me to see and do these quickly. Again, there's no real candy coating. I'm blunt and straight forward. Don't ask me to critique something and then take what I say personally.
I look forward to working with some of you.
Sincerely,
Michael S. Copeland

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi,
I'm Shem Cruz, and I'm 21 years old. I'm still in college, so doing both a lot of things since I have other responsibilities is very hard, but I hope to meet more people who help each other and share each other's knowledge. I must say this community is helpful since it opens its arms to newbies like us who have not partners, no reputation nor name in the world of internet marketing.
I'm in the process of opening a free membership site, so I hope to recruit partners here.
Hi and hello !
-
Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Welcome to JVNP, Shem.
Though I do recommend working on getting your Online Business into the black before delving too deeply into Joint Ventures, I'm sure you'll find plenty of helpful information in regards to both in the archives, current posts, and via interaction with more experienced JV Notify Pro partners.
All the best,
Mike

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi everyone,
....I managed to find the right forum to introduce myself....
I have been doing IM for 2.5 years. I started off selling info-products to niche markets using the Underachiever method (& Ultra Underachievers - mentored by Ed Dale and Frank Kern). This worked!!! But it was only in small tiny niches so even though there were profits, the profits were small.
Then Web 2.0 happened - and I have Ed Dale to thank for his 3rd Thirty Day Challenge - this really opened the door to getting free traffic from all kinds of Social Networking sites.
To cut a long story short (Goodbye Adsense. Goodbye Co-Reg) , I have now moved on to my own IM products.
The ONE thing I have learned from other IM friends and partners is this:
The best way to promote your product is via Joint Ventures. That's when I was recommended to your great community.
Best,
Chris

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi Everyone,
nice to be here!
My name is Justin Mandel and I have been studying IM for the past 11 months. I am getting ready in a few more days to launch my *first* IM product - an eBook, so I am in here to do more homework on JV's!
I feel that I have a good handle on alot of facets of IM, but the slippery JV and elusive "link cloaking" are two things that I need to get more information on!
My niche is healthcare practitioners and will eventually branch out to do IM coaching, which I am doing a little bit on the side - WITHOUT ever launching a product! Currently, I am doing sales letter rewrites with IM coaching as a freebie for those that use my services.
I have studied the greats and would like to follow in their footsteps...time will tell!
I can be found mostly in the Warrior Forum, which is how I found out about Mike the jvnotifypro site.
So, much thanks to Mike for doing putting together this website and I look forward to a pleasant stay!!
Best,
Justin
P.S. If you have are in possession of a list with healthcare practitioners, please send me an email!!!

Hi Everyone,
My name is Darren Kaye,
I've been online for about 3 years, the first couple at the very low end. Over the last year or so I have been working in a partnership with my brother in law, we are primarily minisite designers and work under the name of Graphics Genie.
I like to network, have a few products out there at the moment.
What I believe will be our first BIG project will be launched on the 10th December 2007
I will hopefully through this forum, meet like minded individuals and build some long term Jv partners and friends

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...
Hi Everyone,
I don’t know why it took me so long to get on board this fabulous resource but better late then never as they say.
I have a Computer Science degree from the University of Toronto but have been making a living solely from online marketing for about 3 years now. I have multiple profitable products on the web and love internet marketing.
It is my belief that the most important factor for online success is effective web copy. It is also the hardest to obtain. Luckily for me I am a talented copywriter and I have to say that being able to write my own copy that converts has been, in my opinion, my biggest asset. So if any of you need some help or pointers on you’re copy feel free to ask.
Hope to talk to all of you soon!

Re: First thing to do -- take 2 minutes and introduce yourself ...

I hope to see you here often.
