Vin is simply a master at copywriting.
He prods you emotionally through storytelling and compellingly leads you down a path that begins first with interest, then desire, and then a total belief that the product will grant all of your wishes.
I remember when I first read DJK, I was flabbergasted. Didn't even get the bottom of the sales page before I whipped out the CC and purchased!
Hey, that is great idea.
No it is not.
But aren't all e-books for entertainment purposes only.
On Frank Kern's sales letter it had a warning like.
"This product might not make you any money."
"In fact you may even lose money."
Frank is my favorite marketer he is always so funny.
I got an email the other day from him about a "$8000 haircut."
He makes me want to open my emails even though I know it is
a pitch of some kind.
I talked to Vin on the phone and Chris X wrote the Day Job Killer sales letter himself.
I thought it was Vin too.
This is fun guys, but I have to get back to writing my Mona Lisa.
Oops that is a painting.
Ok, my DJK
If we're talking about designers, I gotta give a shout out to Farihan Bahron at pixelofgenius.
He designed Ebay Crusher and I have to say I was very impressed with his work.
Has any body noticed that now the opt in boxs are getting added into the headers a lot?
Has anybody tested this, and if so what are the results?
Charles
I'll let you know next month!
