Re: How do you get leads?
Hi Tracey,
I agree. Aweber is good.
I finally got my own account after being an end user from the same product so many times before. I saw how well it assists marketers to capture and re-monetize contacts so well I had to think "I better get into this!" It's easy-as to set up and the system give you so many options to display thier form, manager campaigns and track lists.
I am building squeeze pages now that include Aweber. It's a good move.
Re: How do you get leads?
Another very good source of leads is Co-registration. What is co-registration? Can you recall going to one of those high-profile, high-traffic sites like Forbes.com, and you decided to join one of their "investment tips" list?s. As soo nas you finish entering your details you are taken to another page where they ask you to take a look at some of their partners' offers, like opening a free stock trading account, etc. That is co-registration!. The so-called partners paid Forbes.com to appear on that page if you just click the check mark, Forbes forwards the exact same opt-in information you gave them to those partners, and when you receive info from those partners, you can not treat it as spam, because you voluntarily opted in. Though co-registration leads are not as hot as direct opt-ins, they are still very good leads to work with!. The downside is that getting them from such high-profile sites can be very expensive. I know of a site that offers co-registration campaigns for $399/month, but the number of leads you get can be very huge as much as 5-10,000 per month. If you have the budget it's sure worth it.
Re: How do you get leads?
Hi Tracy,
I suggest you start an ezine in the niche you have chosen and get a PLR product that you can offer to all in exchange of their name and email address. And not to sound repetitive, Aweber is the way to go. Then, get a squeeze page to gather your leads.
Once you have this setup, join a giveaway event where you can offer your free PLR product to all interested in your niche. This is the fastest, cheapest and most reliable way to build a list to start.
Much success,
Tamara
