As a marketing consultant, copywriter, product developer, and direct mail marketer since 1983, I’ve decided to throw my hat into the Internet marketing ring. And from what I understand the best way to kick-it-off is to give away a valuable free product. I've been doing Internet Marketing for 4.5 years, specializing in PPC & SEO.
I currently work for Anik Singal and Amit Mehta as their Assistant Director
of Education, and LOVE teaching students at PPC Classroom.

Two of my friends, Michael Nicholas and Jim Morris have spoken VERY highly
of you, Mike, but I never looked into exactly what you did until a very special
young man told me about you today ;) He thinks you are the BOMB! And
since he is a total GENIUS at what he does, it was time I got off my butt to
see what all the buzz was about here...I'm already impressed!

There are many things happening in my career, and if I can help anyone with
anything, please let me know...until then...I'll just peruse around and see
if I can learn more about JV promotions (feel like a newbie all over again!),
and see if I can contribute as well.

Hello. I've been involved in Internet Marketing for the last several years but have really jumped into affiliate marketing in the last two.

In my earlier foray, I was an eBay Powerseller for a couple years. I found that you can make decent money on eBay, but there's a whole lot of ongoing work. With affiliate marketing, you don't have to worry about purchasing, storing, or shipping items, nor do you have to deal with collections or returns. These, along with increasing listing fees, all plague the eBay sellers.

Interestingly, many of the skills I learned on eBay translate directly into the affiliate marketing world. You have to know your customer and be able to relate your product to their needs. You also need to be able to find hot niches while they're hot (or at least figure out what's hot about your niche). Finally, you need to have a good understanding of your competition and the market in general.

I don't have my own product (yet), but I'm interested in the process of creating one.

Just joined and thought I would introduce myself!

My name is Chris Jones I live in the U.K and am not new to the affiliate marketing/IM game since I have been self employed for over 3 years doing just that :)

However I must confess in that whole time I have not done a real JV, a simple list swap etc...

But I really want to go to the next level and set up profitable JV's.

I currently have quite a big list in my main niche so I am ready to learn and (hopefully) I can provide value as well.
