hi from Rhode Island
I have been involved with internet marketing for the last four years. With PPC, banner ads. So I could learn the ropes. Still learning.
I’ve been involved with real estate since I’ve been in diapers. For a long time I was involved with mortgage banking helping small businesses get the money they need. From there I’ve branched out to consulting with small to medium sized businesses. The same issues keep coming up yet not everyone is willing to face the music.
The same themes: mismanagement, cash flow and raising money.
My wife and I have been busy with a new child (in addition to our other children.)
I’ve been reading many of the products out there and most are giving some really bad info. Glad to help anyone that is not trying to cheat others with bad advice.
I am in the middle stages of doing research to put together a much needed product on raising money in this economy.
I will be able to help others in this community.
If I can help out anyone here, just let me know. I'll help however I can.

Hi Jeffery
I understand about realestate deals, I lost a boat load of money on the last project I did about 2 years ago.
But welcome here if I can help just let me know.
Thanks

Hi from Boston Jeff,
Id love some help. Im just getting started with affiliate marketing, I own half a dozen websites.
What are some of the pitfalls that you can help me avoid?
How about traffic and content?
Any tools for the very lazy? ;)

Hassan,
”What are some of the pitfalls that you can help me avoid? “
If you are developing a membership site don’t use Paypal. I could give more details if I knew more about your sites.
”How about traffic and content?”
Much of this will depend on your budget. I could write books about this - what has worked for me and what hasn’t. Ebay has been a phenomenal traffic source of traffic – you can google how to do this. I just saw a joint venture on this forum that goes into detail about this very subject called Ebay Crusher.
Everyone will say PPC/Google Adwords for immediate traffic (it works especially if you have an opt in page or sales page.) Perry Marshall and Jason Potosh do a great job explaining the ins and outs of this.
”Any tools for the very lazy?”
Absolutely – outsource your work. I don’t know what budget you have to work with but by outsourcing your work, you will make more money faster.
There is no tool that is a magic pill – to do well will take work – especially in the beginning. Reinvest your profits and grow.
The best piece of advice I could possibly tell you is give people value and over deliver on what you promise. I don’t just mean your customers but in any relationship you develop in the internet marketing world. It only makes sense – if people can trust and depend on you – they will want to work with you.
