Grew up in a small town in Western Washington. A tour in the Air Force. 15 years as a Real Estate Broker in Anchorage Alaska. Dad to six and Grand Dad to one. Been an early adopter of technology since the seventies. Started on the Internet in 1998. A serial entrepreneur. Did webdesign and internet marketing. Google "Bob Cortez and Total Quality Marketing", many of my IM articles are still floating around. Injury from the Air Force finally caught up with me in 2006. I've had three surgeries on my cervical spine to relieve pressure on my spinal cord. I'm wheelchair bound for the most part. My current project is to build a wheelchair accessible woodworking shop. Seeking funding through VA Vocational Rehabilitation, Sponsorships from woodworking power tool manufacturers and dealers, then crowdfunding if needed. My first crowdfunding effort through Indiegogo was a failure. Will retool with KickStarter. I have ideas for niche woodworking sites that I'll spin off from my main business. Those sites are what I'll seek IM joint ventures for. In the mean time I'm here to learn and contribute what I can to others.
