I'm an unemployed IT Management guy who after my unemployment benefits ran out said "Yikes!!! I gotta do something...and fast!" I also got into the Background Acting biz a couple months after I lost my job and have quite a resume built up...no money but a smashing good resume!
I've been a student of offline marketing for many years, nothing structured just street wise, then I became interested in online marketing several years ago. I didn't know any better and lost a bunch of money with some shaky opportunities. I continued looking for opps but I was a lot more cautious.
A couple years ago when I was laid off from my job I got back into searching for an online marketing solution. I found a few things that made sense to me and put some money toward them. But nothing seemed to take off. I knew I was missing something so I continued looking, but more casually at this point because of personal issues, death in the family, that sort of thing.
Anyway, my unemployment benefits ran out the end of September 2011, I can't believe it doesn't just continue, what a bummer. In all seriousness, I was in deep doo doo. It was in September when I received a letter from the bank saying they had run out of patience with my wife and I, waiting to get a mortgage payment from us and they were officially going to take my house away. I figured they forgot since it was just shy of two years since we've made a payment. But sadly they didn't forget.
My wife works and I've been taking small acting jobs to help out here and there but we're just not able to solidly get back on our feet yet. We ended up getting a reprieve with the bank who went silent until November when they sent us loan modification papers. I guess since the U.S. economy is in such a bad state there's a huge backlog of foreclosures. Thank God for that!
Well I finally got on track with Internet Marketing a few months ago by discovering a system that not only made sense to me but all the little details were finally explained to me. I realized that I had been missing a lot of info in the past that would have been game changers way back when I was first entering into the arena. Oh well, I'm not one to cry over spilled milk so I move on.
Anyway here I am, working the internet with a new set of tools and a new outlook. I know what I'm doing is eventually going to work because I can see the progress I've been making. Gone are the days when I threw money in the magic box hoping it would somehow multiply into millions.
I'm definitely small potatoes right now and I don't know when the bank is going to catch up with me again but it doesn't matter as much to me anymore. I'm on a course and as long as I stay the course good things will eventually start happening.
