Hi all

Rather than dive head first to Mike and send him a JV request, it is probably a good idea if I ask advice from other members first.

First, the product.
Domain: http://videopostrobot.com
Sales page: http://videopostrobot.com/index2.htm (very very rough draft)
Bonus: 1 ebook (plus maybe 2 physical CD)

I'm doing a mailing to a very small sub-list this week and hope to get some email conversion stats. This is not even prelaunch.

I sent them 3 mailings
- http://videopostrobot.com/badshooting.htm (This is about my video that get 12,000 views in 16 hours)
- http://videopostrobot.com/basic (This video shows the basic features of the software)
- http://videopostrobot.com/advanced (This video shows the advanced features of the software)

The results will be in next week.

For the main launch, I've already got email follow up written and plan to have the promo email + other materials up soon.

I will also run a short Adwords campaign to get better stats and optimize the opt-in page.

For the current email campaign, the price will be significantly lower than the 7-days launch discount price. This bring the question whether the current email stats is not representative due to the price difference. Any ideas?

For the JV partner perks & benefits, here's what I'm thinking
- closed door aff program (handled by JVManager 2 aka Fantasos)
- 75% commission
- top affiliate gets extra commission (after comp ends) for every copy of the product sold (like a royalty)
- cash prizes (how much to give if the product is $97? how about if the price is $197?)

Is it enough hooks? Or you guys have something better to add?

I'm not a voice-guy so I'm not comfortable phoning the partners. Maybe I can hire someone?

In terms of pricing, I am still in the dark. I don't want it to be too cheap that makes someone questions its quality but not too expensive that can put people off. Maybe you give some indications on the pricing to shed some light.

Btw, how do you guys think the demand like for this software?

Thanks in advance guys.

Yuzairy ... though a great way to increase the knowledge of those fellow partners with little product launch experience would be to plug your data into various models and offered additional input ...

I want to make this clear, first ... again.

Yuzairy ... this is your second post ... do you think you've contributed enough to this forum to gain leverage for an actual product launch from it?

I'm sorry if I come off as harsh, but I'm VERY serious when it comes to Joint Ventures ... relationships need time to develop, launches can't be rushed ... don't shoot yourself in the foot trying to oversimplify the processes.

Reed, myself ... and other experienced partners will gladly offer advice ... I'm also considering a 'special offers' section comparable to that of the Warriors where you can offer discounts on products and services during beta testing in return for feedback and testimonials to aid you in your research and give you a boost ... but you'll need to have more than 1 or 2 posts to qualify for that, as well ... so now is a good place to get started. ;)

Best,

Mike

No offense taken Mike.

As a matter of fact, I took your advice back at Warriors and I'm collecting as much data as possible, put as much effort as possible before approaching any partners or brokers. Although the product is ready, I hold any launch until I've done as much optimizing as possible so that I can give the best chance for potential partners to convert.

My email is not an invitation but merely to ask an advice how to properly set-up a quality package that creates a win-win-win for all.

I couldn't find a sample where people can look up for samples of a good JV proposal. I didn't approach any brokers formally as I don't know how to put up a proposal and package that meet expectations.

And that's why I ask. ;)

Fair enough, Yuzairy .. ;)

Every once in a while I read things that tee me off outside this community (not necessarily by 'newbies', either) that spurs me to be on the cranky side ... for that I apologize (that goes for you, to, Vanessa .. ;))

Ive got regular business on my plate at the moment ... will be back later to offer my opinion and advice. ;)

Best,

Mike

Hello!

Yuzairy, I have checked your product sales page and saw that you are going to sell your product at $97. I would also price the product similarly, because its a software to automatically upload videos to many popular websites. The higher price would scare off a lot of buyers - at least with the current sales page. I personally wouldn't pay more than 100 usd for a software. But I think you could try to improve your salespage and show the real value of it. Show people the benefits that the software can do to them in your sales page... Ex. - how your website traffic increased N times when you've submitted only one video using this software, etc. Give some real proof why your software working in action and show the good statistical results - how much backlinks you've got from the search engines, how your traffic jumped after submitting your first video and etc. People love seeing the REAL results that they can get from the software... If you could provide these things, then the price of 149 USD or even more won't have much influence...

Moreover, before the launch, once you have everything set up, make 2 sales letters of your product with different prices - ex. 97 usd and 147 usd and run a some test campaigns on Google Adwords or Y! Search marketing to find out the conversion ratios and how they are affected by the price. Then you will be able to decide which price would bring you more profits.

Have a nice day,
Egidijus

Thanks Egidijus (i'm not sure if I can even pronounce it)

I will definitely run more tests and so far at 67 the conversion is high so maybe I will try to test the extreme high next then the middle of those two until I find the most optimum price point.

Btw, the salespage that you saw is not the real one. I got a better version of it but since it would most probably against the forum rules, I didn't post it. Don't want people to accidentally order it yet. :)

Hi!
Great to hear that the conversions are going really good. Yuzairy, if you want - you can PM me your actual sales page, so I will check it out and provide even more thoughts :)

Have a nice day,
