Newbie Question

I'm new obviously and want to know why on some launches there are no jv invites yet (no hyperlink to click on). If I plan to promote a product, would it be better to promote one with an active hyperlink text or promote a launch that doesn't have it active yet. The product I want to promote is in October and is more than a month away.

Well, I'll take a stab at helping you.

Here are some things to consider.

If a product has already been launched, much of the buzz may have died down, depending on how long ago the launch was.

However, if you have a responsive list and want to do a mailing, then go for it.

On the other hand, there are advantages to promoting launches that haven't happened yet.

For example, if you're going to put up a site offering bonuses for the product you're promoting, you'll want some time to get the site up and to rank it high in Google.

Also, you would like to create a buzz before the product goes live so choosing a launch that's a month away gives you time to prime your list and/or site visitors.
