I'm hoping the "share and benefit" mentality is strong here. I have a good feeling it definitely is.
I'd like to "steal" your best productivity tools, marketing tools, resources, websites for my profit gain. ;D Isn't that nice of me.
But in trade, I'll list any tools / advantages here that we're using in hopes that they'll help you.
Note... technically I do post my list at my own site: http://www.robtoth.com/genieadvantage.htm ... but I'd rather keep expanding that list here. And having it here also fosters more discussion of how/why you use a tool. THAT is the important part by the way... just a list of software/scripts/services doesn't benefit anyone much without a "here's why we use it" speal.
Mike, I hope you're okay with the link I posted to my site. Typically that's behind an opt-in. The link above by passes the opt-in.
If YOU guys have such a resource list, I see no problems with posting a link to yours too as long as useful summaries and valid content is posted there.
But again, I'd invite everyone to help feed this post.
Everytime I enter a new JV, either I introduce the partner to tools and technologies they weren't using or they do to me. Usually it's a give and take. And we each grin and say "holy crap, that's so much better than how we were doing it" and we profit faster from there on.
THAT is the point with this post.
ESPECIALLY if we get replies from a cross-section of business models and industries here.
I'll start it off with a couple of recommendations in the next post...
