I have never done my own launch yet but I believe that there are 7 secret elements in order to create a successful product launch. These are:

1. JVs /Affiliates:
You have to create your army of affiliate and JV partners. You have to give them a good reason to promote your product. A nice commission is NOT enough. You have to take care of your JV partners. Give them lots of promotional material. Educate them, show them how to promote your product and give them all the kinds of promotional materials. Show them how to make money with your product, what will work and not. Build excitement around your product and show them how easy it is to make a commission from your product(s). You have to "market" your affiliates how to "market".

2. Create A Buzz For Your Product And Name By Preselling Yourself And Product.
Give your subscribers lots of useful information for FREE. Create different free educational videos, free ebooks and audios with lots of free information related to the subject of your product. Not sales material but some really good information that you would normally sell. Show them a preview of what they will get. Educate your subscribers and website visitors so they trust you enough, become an authority around the niche of your product. Build excitement around your product and a buzz about the product so they can’t wait until they can buy your product.

3. Early Bird List:
Build an Early bird list (waiting list) with the help of affiliates, JVs and yourself. This list has at least 3-5 more value than any other I.M. list you have. These are almost buyers of your product. On this list you will have people that are interested about your product and almost decided to buy it. They will get the "secret page" where they can buy your product usually 1 hour before it officially launches.

4. Bonuses To First Buyers:
Give different extra bonuses that are related to the product to the first 100, 200 300 buyers that will buy the product. People might be 99% interested but there always will be people that will leave it for later, and later never comes. Urgency helps. Why not buy it now and also get the free bonuses?

5. Your Product:
Of course you also have to give a really good product that is valuable and will help people. Don’t only give a 100 pages ebook. Create a video series showing them exactly instead of just telling them in the ebook. Also create audio versions of your product. Different people like different formats. Create more bonuses. This can be also an ebook, a video, an audio interview etc something that will give real extra value to the buyer.

6. Salesletter:
Also a good saleletter written by someone with good copyright skills is also needed. However if you have successfully created a buzz around your product and name and have thousands of people waiting you to go live they will not even read and look on your salesletter. They will be busy clicking the “buy button”.

7. O.T.O.
The people that bought your product are in a "buying mood" so if they bought your $97 product a large percent will also buy your one time offers.

All the best,

Your points are very helpful.

I'm hoping to do a launch soon.

They will definitely benefit me.

Cheers,

ya these are some of the points.

one point i would like to add is always give to people first.because it's not about you.it's about what you can do and help your partners to make it a win-win situation for both parties.

Well said my friend.

The most important things are,

A good sales page-You really need a good high converting sales page. You can test it by PPC Traffic. It will also allow you to make changes for further improvement.

A good product-You REALLY need a good product with great info.If your salespage and all is good, and your product isn't,many people will try to get a refund or will NEVER buy from you again. So give them a lot of info.OVERDELIVER is the word i should use.

A good sales funnel-The sales funnel should be systematic.Like the OTO's and stuff.

It will also help if you have some backend offers for people who are willing to spend some more considering that you have a good product. But you covered almost all of the basic elements here Andreas. Nice job!

That's totally 7 most important points to create a successful product launch. I often see a lot of people did not apply the social media in product launch, so is that not needed?

I think your mostly on, but a couple of points.

JV's. This being JV Notify Pro I'll say something that not everyone will love, but JV's are not important per say. It's important you have access to as many interested people as possible. Having JV's is a great way, but not the only way, to get them. The biggest launch I ever managed ($2,900,000) had no JV partners. Also people make the mistake of thinking that they need a lot of JV's, and this is not always the case either. Much better to have quality because you will find that 95% of your sales come from about 5% of your affiliates. In 2009 I managed one of the largest Forex Robot launches of the year, I believe we had 140 something affiliates, and 70% of our sales came from 3 of them. This doesn't mean the other affiliates are not important, they help to carry the message as well, and contribute to the inbox flood and "everyone is in on this" feeling that is helpful to a launch...but don't think you need a lot of affiliates to have a great launch...or even any at all.

That said if you do have affiliates your running two launches, never forget that. The affiliates have a lot going on, they want to work as little as possible for as much $$ as possible and you need to do everything you can to convince them that your product is the easiest and best way for them to do that this week...and that it'll pay off in more than commissions this week. Most top affiliates want a relationship, not just commissions.

Product. Quality of the product is not really important at all in how important your launch will be. Don't believe me look at the stuff coming out recently. 90% of the people who buy your products will never use it, they are buying for the little dopamine boost that buying gives them. If your first hour or so of content is good, your refunds will be the same regardless of if the rest is the best thing ever put out or if it's shit. All that said I think you should take pride in your product and put out something that does what you promise it will do, but don't be so niave as to think the best product wins, thats simply not the case.

Bonus to first buyers and any other form of scarcity is huge. If you dont have it your leaving tons of money on the table. Same with OTO's.

Salesletter is big. Jeff Walkers concept of the sideways sales letter during your launch is very powerful, but no matter how good your launch, no matter how many hot bottons you hit, a huge number of people are still going to read that letter. Your letter is as important as your launch sequence. You will get a ton of sales as soon as you go live, but after the first few hours people are reading that sales letter, and thats probably 50 to 60% of your sales..so it's important.
