School is the foundation where our minds are molded and where we learn what we apply in our daily lives. Remember the eagerness you had when it was the first day of school? The first day in nursery (okay, we can’t all remember that far behind) or the first day of junior high, senior high, and yes, college life! This is something we can apply to business as well. All you need is the will to learn, and execute!

We should treat business as if it’s a course we need to pass, fight for grades and pleasing the teachers. In business, it’s your customers. Your college peers are your employees, you best friend is your partner. Think about it. It can help you thrive and move forward just like you did in school. Set goals for yourself at go get them.

First thing is finding the right school, where your course or major is taught best. Now apply that to business. You have to find the right location. Trump was right when he said that the 3 L’s of business are location, location and yes, location. Find the right spot where your business will bloom. Is it easily accessed by your customers? Can you find what you need near by? Is it safe?

Then comes enrollment. You can’t skip any steps here. All your papers must be intact and filed in the right places. That’s businesses permits. All the permit you need should be in your hands and given to the right places. It would be a shame if you work so hard on things for months then you’ll have to be kicked out (shut down) because you didn’t file one paper.

After that, classes start. Be prepared. For business you need to have all the equipment ready, have people in place, be 100% ready to open business! Sales and marketing needs to be studied and reviewed and implemented. There will be bumps along, so be prepared to take them head on. Exams coming up? Study hard! Inspector expected? Clean up the place! Do your homework. Yes, make sure you’re targeting the right customers, make sure your getting the message to them and make sure that you’re getting the sales you want, and hopefully more.

With the right Sales and marketing implementation you should go through this business school with flying colors. Remember, market yourself, market your product, when the message gets to the people, and make the sale. It’s a step by step procedure that when done properly will get you an A+. If you could do it in school, why not now in business? Yes you’ll have people competing with you, but that’s the challenge that makes you feel so good when you win. The best way to beat someone in this competition is to find their weak spot, and target it! Happy Schooling.

Here's to your Success!
