Hey Guys,

I've noticed a lot of you are launching new products this month, so I think I'm gonna put off my own personal venture until christmas or jan / feb next year.

I wanna get a rough idea on what we're all doing to avoid clashes, not that I'm much of a "competitor" at the mo anyway. Competitor isn't even the right word but you know what I mean :)

Just joined the Black Hat Millionaire launch by Chris Canos, looks like a good 'un at a $1 trial membership.
Anyone else doing that?

Peace - Pushy.

:) I'm launching within 3 weeks I hope...
I need to recruit my army of JV partners before launching...
I also need to gain as much as testimonials as possible...
I'm giving away free eCourse in the meantime to build my list...
Having good results regarding traffic and list building...
I'm trying to build my credibility before the launch...
Have written some stuffs on ezine articles and has done a little bit of SEO :)

I'm launching at the end of the month/beginning of next. November seems to be a popular choice. People get in the more "time to spend" mode due to the holidays.

Not leaving yourself much time then Steph? Personally I'd give you and your partners at least a month before launch. And that's once x-amount of JV partners have agreed to take part. IMHO.

Agreed Rob. Think I may get on the New Years Resolution band-wagon myself ;)

I'm personally not launching until after the first of the year. Lots of reasons behind it but I want to give my JV partners at least a 4-week heads up.

Ive got to say that launching a product is one of the most involving things an internet marketer can do. You think at first all you do is say i have xyz product, and im launching this xyz day, please go out and buy it. lol. Nooooooooooooooooooo. Its a hell of a lot more than that. As it is right now, im trying to put the finishing touches on my product that im hoping to launch by the end of the month, early next month.

A few dynamics that im taking care of are making sure all the graphics work for my product, developing all the proper sales copy so that it sells along with the sales pages, the keyword research, developing the one time offer, developing the membership site / backend portion, making sure my affiliate section is tight with no holes and that i got all the tools to help my affiliates promote effectively, and getting an affiliate manager on board, getting all my testimonials and interviews on hand, and last but what I think is definitely not least but in fact the most important aspect of this whole process or else your launch will fail and fall flat on its face is developing all the relationships with your potential jv partners.

I think if you go over and take care of all of these steps on the way to making your launch, you should have some good success with it. It does take time to make sure everything is correct, as I can say im working on mine for like the last month and change now, but you want to make sure its all working the way its supposed to but in the end I think It pays off alot more than not taking care of them. Just my 2 cents.

With all of that said, keep an eye out for Da' Big Blue Book, coming to you all sooooooooon. 8)

It's rough out there, right now ... many merchants trying to squeeze in launches before Black Friday ... and a few daring souls launching the first 2 weeks of December, and even those slots are overbooked. Might be wise to wait till the New Year, unless you have your core group committed.

Best,

Mike

Thanks for the advice Mike, since you are quite the expert in these matters, i may just very well take your advice and hold off a bit. I will have to see what my partners have to say but that may just be where ill be headed with it. Lets see what happens.

I agree Mike,

New Year, New Products!

Let the big guns (you know who you are!) handle Christmas and the rest of us can pick up the scraps in the New Year :P Not anything to complain about, there'll be plenty left for everyone.

Great advice, it is always useful to know what is happening in the market before jumping into the pool.

Those are all good ideas. I have a product just about queued up for CB, but I may sit on it awhile and let the holidays blow over....

Definitely waiting until after the new year. In January to start fresh.

Good Advice Mike!

Ya know - it just may be that Christmas won't come this year. What with the economy the imminent failure of the auto makers, I'm thinking that a lot of people will get more nervous as the holidays approach and start looking at ways to make money instread of paying $300.00 for My Little Pony for Susie.

Maybe little Susie will get a Barbie Doll and Daddy will get a CB Product.

Ya never know in this game............
