Finding joint venture partners is one of the quickest ways to boost your traffic and sales sky-high in a very short period of time. Joint venture partners give you leverage, credibility and reach in your market.

There are three ways to get affiliates on board:

1. If it's a killer product that has high conversion rates

If you have a product that is converting well, joint venture partners will want to promote it to their mailing lists because they know it will make them money! So make sure your product converts before approaching JV partners. You can do a test run using pay per click marketing, refine your campaign there and make changes to improve your conversion rates. Then take a screenshot or two and show it to JV partners. A good conversion rate is 2%, and a very good conversion rate would be 5% or above.

2. If you have a killer product and a list to reciprocate mailings

If you have a product that converts well and you have a large mailing list, JV partners will be more willing to work with you. Since they are mailing out for you, they are actually sending over their customers. If you can do the same for them, you'll have a better chance of getting joint ventures.

3. If you have a good relationship with the affiliate/joint venture partner

Form some relationships in your niche. Go to seminars or chat in forums. Make use of email, instant messenger and Skype to build relationships.

If you have all three elements in your JV campaign, you should get some massive results out of it!
