Ron is President and CEO of Charlotte Local Marketing which provides local marketing services for a variety of local clients, including: attorneys, chiropractors, roofing companies, engineers, manufacturers and realtors. He is also a Certified Google Adwords Professional and offers PPC marketing services to a large number of clients.
Ron has been involved with internet marketing for 10+ years and spent much of that time as an SEO professional. But in the last two years, his primary focus has shifted to pay per click because of the continual disruptions that Google has caused with their organic ranking algorithms and the impact it has had on many of his clients’ organic traffic.
Ron also spent 25+ years in the corporate software technology world wearing many different hats. Starting his career as a software developer, he then moved into a variety of other roles: project management, product marketing, industry marketing, sales, business development and sales management. Along the way he worked for a number of large and small hardware and software companies including NCR, SAP and other companies.
For many years of his corporate career, Ron focused his efforts with small startup technology companies as he relished the entrepreneurship that growing small companies requires. In his sales capacity, he was directly responsible for $35+ million in sales.
But Ron became very disenchanted with the corporate world and the non-stop travel that being a successful sales professional required. In the fall of 2013, he decided enough was enough and launched Charlotte Local Marketing. Since then he has acquired dozens of clients across the USA and has built a solid six-figure business offering local online marketing services for these clients.
Ron holds a BS in Business Management and Computer Science from Catawba College, a prestigious liberal arts college in Salisbury NC. This education, combined with his 25+ years of practical and real world experience in the technology space and the online marketing knowledge he has obtained, provides him with a unique blend of understanding what it takes for companies to succeed online.
All of this experience has now led to him to develop the PPC Domination training course which is an extensive training course for Google Adwords pay per click.
