Hi all!

I've had a few injuries in both arms for a few years now (occupational hazards of being an artist), and have been using the built-in Windows speech-to-text application for a lot of my typing. Some people swear that Dragon isn't much better, and still others swear BY Dragon.

And so, I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with these (or other) dictation software, and if they had any insights as to what some good alternatives might be.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts! :D

Thank you for your time! ^-^

Hi Cheryl,

I can tell you straight up that I use dragon and it's great. I dont think any VRS software is going to be perfect but I know from using dragon on windows it works more than good enough. I'm sure you can get it for a mac as well. I use it a lot for writing articles. You can correct mistakes by voice command as well, so no need to use your hands/fingers.

hope that helps,
Daniel.
